 Twilight Scramble

EVERY FRIDAY  ·  6PM

Every Friday, we will be having a Twilight Scramble! It can be couples or just friends.

We will do different formats throughout the year.

**Open to EVERYONE!**

Members will just pay cart fees if they don’t have a cart pass plus a $5 cash only entry fee for prizes.

Non-Members will pay $25 per person and $5 of that must be cash.   We ask that you try and sign up by 2pm the day of the event to allow us enough time to make the pairings pick the format based off of the number of players.

We’re OPEN for play!

Dear fellow member,

Over the past several years, the Board has been looking at how best to address a main concern about our operations – pace of play. One of the most sensitive elements of that is the play of Fivesomes. This became less of an issue when the pandemic forced us to limit carts and for the time being, ban groups of five. At last night’s Board meeting, pace of play was discussed in detail: as a result, the following guidelines will be implemented effective immediately.

1. The target time for a typical 18 hole round will be 3:55 – three hours and fifty-five minutes. If your group falls behind, you may be asked to skip a hole. If you are unable to sustain the desired pace of play, your group may be asked to withdraw.

2. Pace of play will be monitored both from the Pro Shop and through on-course marshals.

3. The club has established five sets of tees to provide players of all levels, the opportunity to play a round compatible with their skill level. While the scorecards indicate appropriate tees, we will be posting the same information on our website and in our clubhouse for the benefit of guests and members alike.

4. Effective immediately, and for the remainder of the year, fivesomes will be permitted. This is consistent with an increasing trend in the industry. We will monitor this aspect of our operations to ensure that the pace of play is maintained.

The target time is consistent with recommendations from Golf News and Golf Digest, and with targets at most clubs today. You can help us achieve this! Don’t be late for your tee time. Be sensitive to the groups behind you; play ready golf; be prepared to play your shot when it is your turn; and move to the next tee promptly. A lost ball is not the same as a gold watch. Limit your search to three minutes maximum, and while we understand the need to retrieve a ball from a water hole, please don’t go fishing!

If you have any questions, please check with Zach in the ProShop.

Sincerely,
Zach Johnson
